 Hi friends!
Next weekend is the BIG GAME! Yes and but now I’m sure you either have already made plans on where to go watch it. Or you’ve already planned to throw a party at your own place. Or maybe you’re just not into football, your team didn’t make it or you’re just into the half time commercials. Oh yes, half time. My favorite part of the big game! I love watching the performers do their thing. You know what else I love during half time? French fries! So today I am going to show you how to whip up my cheesy mozzarella half time bacon fries with McCain Potatoes!

McCain Potatoes makes frozen favorites that bring joy to every meal. With a ton of different McCain Potatoes options like McCain Craft Beer Fries, McCain Extra Crispy Curly Fries or McCain Seasoned Curly Fries you will find a fry you love. Especially for game day and more importantly half time. McCain Potatoes make the perfect game day dish because there's a variety to choose from, they cook really fast with no burning, their inexpensive and of course delicious!

So if you're like me your team didn't make it to the big game this year, and that's okay. But I still love half time and I don't wanna miss it. But I also love a quick snack option too. So I thought "what could I whip up quickly during the half time show?" That's when my cheesy mozzarella bacon fries came in. So I headed to my local Walmart and grabbed a few bags. But I only included one in my recipe. For my recipe, this is what you'll need.

1 pack of Bacon.
1 pack of Mozzarella cheese.

Now if everything is already unthawed prep time is less than 5 minutes and the entire dish takes less than 15-20 minutes to make. So what do you do first?

Step 1. Cut your package of bacon down the middle. It'll save you more bacon in the long run if you cook smaller slices.

Step 2. Start frying your bacon.

Step 3. Put your McCain Potatoes on and let them start cooking, that way they will cook along with your bacon. The McCain Potatoes typically need less time so that's why I start them after the bacon.

Step 4.  Once your bacon is done cut it up into small pieces. Or big depending on how you like it.

Step 5. Once your McCain Potatoes are done add them to a bowl and sprinkle your mozzarella cheese on top.

Step 6. Next, sprinkle your bacon on top and you are done!

Hooray! you now have a cheesy ooey-gooey, crunchy, McCain Potatoes dish that you can chow down on during half time. You can even enjoy a side dish of plain fries and a little ketchup. Or add ranch!

Be sure to head down to your local Walmart where you can find all the ingredients including McCain potatoes. Be ready for game day and keep your stomach happy! :)
