Chicco Myfit Harness + Booster Carseat review (part 1)

(I received these products for review, but all opinions are my own. This is a sponsored post by Chicco.)

Hi friends!
It’s been quit a while since the last time. Even though it was probably a year and a half ago. Yes. What an experience. I remember it like it was yesterday. Ivy and Aria holding on tight for dear life, wind in their hair, tears from laughter in their eyes, tongues hanging out of their mouths like a tiny doggies. Man! Car seat shopping can get intense. Ha! But seriously now here we are a few years later and my girls have grown so much I figured it was definitely time for a new car seat. But with so many car seats on the market now both new and old brands I had to make a list and do some hard research on what worked best for my girls. That’s when I came to the conclusion that we wanted a Chicco seat.

For the last few years my best friend Melissa has been going on and on about the Chicco car seat brand. She’s used the brand for her two boys forever and she loves it. Since there are so many car seats brands on the market as I said before I thought I’d still do some research first. After I researched brands it was ultimately no denying that Chicco was the brand we wanted to try. So what helped me come to this decision? 3 things.

1. Safety: This was my main thing. I do a lot of driving with my girls and we take a lot of trips. Therefore a safe car seat was too priority. I wanted side impact protection in case of an accident. I also wanted a steel frame. Basically bad ass safety features.

2. Weight & Height: my girls are like any other normal kids they grow overnight. But Ivy on the other hand seems like she’s growing inches throughout the day. I wanted a car seat that would not only be comfortable for her now but for many years to come. So things  like a 5 point harness, boster and belt system was a must.

3. Features: Little things I was looking for like double cup holders, and a girly color wasn’t a deal breaker but was nice. The most important features I was looking for was things like headrest and reclining positions for nap time, how easy it would be to clean things like that. Now those were deal breakers for me.

So when I did my research on the MyFit Harness + Booster Car Seat I found that it had all these features plus more!

My girls both received the car seats in the mail in the color Gardenia When we got these huge boxes in the mail they were so excited! I’ll be the first to admit I’m really excited too! I can’t wait to get these seats installed in my car and hit the road with my girls. Upon my research they sound like the perfect seat and upon checking out these seats first hand I think they’re gonna be pretty amazing.

You guys be sure to check out part two of this blog post that will be coming soon. In part two  I will give you guys my honest review about the car seats, what I loved, what my girls loved and all the features. Plus more photos of the girls and will talk a bit about the installation process. Be sure to subscribe to my blog and again be on the look out for part two (the review). Talk to you soon friends!
